About the Event

Jim will talk about his current book Condemned for Love in Old Virginia: The Lynching of Arthur Jordan , which tells of the tragic romance between Jordan and Elvira Corder, his employer's daughter.

He also will talk about his latest research: an incident in Gordonsville in 1936, which resulted in the deaths of Orange County Sheriff William Young and an elderly brother and sister, William and Cora Wales.
